One person
reads every email.
Email is the support channel. There's no ticket system, no chatbot, no "your inquiry has been logged." Just a reply, usually within a day.
Tell me what's going on.
Bug, feature idea, account help, billing question — same address. If it's a bug, mention the build version (found in Orbit → About) and which device.
For urgent account issues, write URGENT in the subject and I'll prioritize.

Common questions.
If something isn't here, email me and I'll add it.
I forgot my password. Can you recover it?
No — and that's intentional. Your password is the only key that unlocks your vault. We never see it and we don't keep anything that could rebuild it. If you've still got Touch ID or Face ID enabled on at least one device, sign in there to unlock your vault and immediately change your password from Settings → Account.
If neither biometrics nor your password are available, the vault entries are permanently undecryptable. You can reset your account and start fresh from the lock screen.
Does my data sync between Mac and iPhone automatically?
Yes. Once you sign into Orbit on both devices with the same email and password, everything syncs in seconds over a TLS connection. Vault entries stay encrypted end-to-end during sync.
Where is my data stored?
On a private server we operate (currently in a European data center). See the Privacy Policy for exactly what's stored and how.
Can I use Orbit offline?
Yes. Both apps keep a local copy of your data. Changes you make offline sync up the next time you have a connection.
What happens if I delete my account?
Everything tied to your account is permanently deleted from our database within 30 days. Server access logs roll off after 14 days regardless. To delete: Orbit → Settings → Account → Delete account.
Is there a free trial?
The current builds are free during the early-access period. Paid plans will arrive with a free tier. See Pricing.
How do I export my data?
Settings → Data → Export. You'll get a JSON file with everything, including vault entries (which stay encrypted in the export — you'll need your password to import elsewhere).
I have an idea for a feature.
Send it. I read every email and keep a public-ish list at /changelog.
